This little book follows on from the research we have undertaken for previous books on Perthshire heritage, including two books on the 'Lost Gardens of Perthshire.' That research has highlighted the rich history of the County recorded by the writers and photographers of the Victorian and Edwardian years. Perthshire has long been noted for its fine trees, and they have been one of the ways in which that history has been carried down through the generations.
